Charles Ray Bell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Ray Bell of Dublin, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Alexander Sr. and Louise Moles Bell; and his siblings, Frank A. Bell, Jr., Clarence Bell, Susie Bell Peters, James Bell, Raymond Bell, Bonnie Swatson and Regina Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Bell; his children, Jenny Dickerson (Jay), Michele Nester (Chuck) and Brad Simpkins (Alexandra); his grandchildren, Jessica Gregory (Todd), Bronson Underwood (Breanna), Sarena Morton (Christian), Christopher Stowers, Noah Simpkins and Jaydin Dickerson; his great grandchildren, Tavin, Aurelia, Berkley and Brielle; his siblings, Pat Sittler and Wayne Bell; and his close friend Johnny Cole. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mullins Funeral Home (120 W Main St, Radford, VA 24141). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery (5550 Bagging Plant Rd, Dublin, VA 24084).
