Carl Woodyard Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Woodyard Sr. of Dublin, Virginia, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sidney and Rhoda Meadows White Woodyard; and his daughter Norma Woodyard Gravely. He is survived by: his wife Mary Riddle Woodyard; his son Chester; his daughter-in-law Trish Woodyard; his grandchildren, Jay, Patsy Gravely and Holly Woodyard; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Joe and Thomas; and his brother David Allen Woodyard. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Carl's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospitals, stjude.org, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
