He was predeceased by: his uncle Ronald Guy Whitaker (Ronnie). He is survived by: his parents, Richard Kelly Whitaker and Sherry Lyons Whitaker of Chapel Hill, NC.; his great-grandparent Naomi Quesenberry Whitaker of Pulaski; his grandparents, Gerald Cline Lyons, Cheryl Howard Lyons of Dublin, Ronald Frederick Whitaker (Fred) of Radford and Doris Stoots Whitaker of Max Meadows; his siblings, Brittany Nicole Whitaker of Dublin and Zachery Reuben Whitaker of Greensboro, NC; his aunts, Karen Lyons Jones (JD Jones) of Pulaski and Donna Worrell Whitaker of Max Meadows; and his cousins, Garrison Michael Thomas of Pulaski, Hunter James Thomas of Pulaski, Autumn Sierra Whitaker of Max Meadows, Eric Duff Whitaker of Max Meadows and Kaitlynn Worrell of Max Meadows. He is also survived by many other great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.
