He was predeceased by: his father Dallas C. Adkins; and his sister Barbara Adkins Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Michele Wikel Adkins; his mother Merendie Chaffin Adkins; his children, Cindy Adkins Collins (Jim), Brian Keith Adkins and Brianna Adkins; his grandchildren, Travis Wheeler and Lydia Collins; his stepgrandchildren, Kaitlyn Collins, Trey Collins, Justin Collins and Brandon Roop; his great grandchild Everest Keith Adkins; and his brothers, George Adkins (Dorothy) and Carlton Adkins (Wendy). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
