He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Wood, Sr. and Mildred Bennett Wood; his sister Thelma Bashlor; and his grandchildren, Emma, Reagan and Hope Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Freda Wood; his daughter Edwina (Tracy Pence) of King, N. C.; his grandchildren, Neal Pence (Rachel), Lindsay and Mackenzie; his children, Elaine Wood of Dublin, Eddie and Kim Wood of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Eddie, III, Ethan, Eli and Ella; his children, Emily and Ryan Jackson of Garner; his grandchildren, Liliann, Elianna and Annabella; and his brother Walter L. Wood, Jr. of Roanoke. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
