With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lea Wall Akers of Dublin, Virginia, who passed away on July 11, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKinley and Ossie Mae King Wall; her husband Danny Lee Akers; and her siblings, Virgil Wall, Lester Wall, Marvell Wall, Frances W. Tate and Shirley Ramsey.
She is survived by: her sister Sallie; her brother-in-law Lewis Riddle; and her nieces, Alma Warden and Tammy Miller. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made directly to A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, 2508 Walkers Creek Valley Rd., Pearisburg, VA 24134, to help offset funeral expenses.
