He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Whitt; his son Ronald L. Whitt of Johnson City, TN; his stepchildren, Jeffery Berry and Janice McCollan; his siblings, Dewey Whitt of Pound, VA, Mildred Gibson of Pound, VA and Betty Belcher of Pound, VA; and his nephew Garry Flemings of Clintwood, VA.
