He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenn Matheson and Christine Young; and his sister Gilda Matheson. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Matheson of Dryden, VA; his daughter Melissa Vanzant-Birch of London; and his siblings, Doug Matheson, Ricky Matheson and Judy Hodges.
