He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Peters and Chester James Peters; his wife Loretta Peters; and his siblings, John Wesley Peters and Edith Pennington.
He is survived by: his sons, James R. Peters (Yvonne), Randy R. Peters and Bub Peters (Vella); his grandchildren, Michael Peters (Jamie), Julia Peters, Amber Day (Logan), Lorissa Peters and Benjamin Peters; his great grandchild Amelia Rose Little; and his brother Arthur Peters.
