He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Joe Hand; his grandparents, John, Cora Hand, Cephus and Ethel Russell; his grandchildren, Peyton Woodward, Jeremy Pennington and Shay Smith; his mother Rheta Humphrey; his sister Renia Clark (Jim); his uncle Keith Russell (Louise); his brothers-in-law, L. W. Calton (Kris), Charles (Pop) and Calton (Paulette); his stepmother Reba Hand; and his stepdaughter Patty Alsup.
