With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Poe of Dryden, Virginia, who passed away on December 24, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Poe and Helen Lay Poe; his sister Sandra Beasley; and his brother-in-law Billy P. Shufflebarger. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Poe; his sons, Rodney (Pam) of Powell, TN, Mike (Tammy) of Richmond, KY and Donnie (Samantha) of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Taylor Poe, Sydney Poe, Brittany Poe Blevins (Aaron), Brandon Poe, Caleb Poe and Jordan Poe; his great grandchild Evelyn Blevins; and his sister Nancy Poe.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be sent to Dryden Baptist Church.
