He was predeceased by: his parents, Terry Shuler and Viola Thacker; his grandparents, Ida Shuler, Frank and Georgia Thacker; his brother Terry Franklin Shuler; and his uncle Jerry Thacker.
He is survived by: his wife Amy Shuler; his sons, Kinzie Shuler Jacob Shuler (Jenna) of North Carolina and Tyler Shuler of North Carolina; his stepdaughters, Hailey Kelly of Pound, VA and Ashley Sturgill (Joseph); his siblings, Danny Shubert of Dryden, VA and Somer Neff (Tracy) of Jonesville, VA; his aunts and uncles, Rick Thacker, Junior Thacker, Jamie Thacker and Patricia Beagley; his friend Jerry Kelly; and his close friend Ronnie Kimberlin.
Due to covid-19 state regulations, those attending the visitation and funeral are asked to wear masks/facial covering.
