He was predeceased by: his father Albert Dean Gibson; his brother Albert Wayne Gibson; and his grandparents, Wiley, Bertha Gibson, Dewey and Estelle Russell.
He is survived by: his mother Barbara Ellen Russell Quigley of Ridgecrest Manor; his significant other Betty Jones; his children, Richard Gibson, Jordan Gibson of Dryden, VA and Tiffany Gibson of Rose Hill, VA; and his siblings, Stevie Lee Gibson of Kentucky, Frankie Delph of Jonesville, VA, Tommy Lynn Delph of Pennington Gap, VA, Carolyn Jean Gibson of Jonesville, VA and Kathy Daniels of Kentucky. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.
