With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Phillip D. Hylton of Dry Fork, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Phillip left this world on January 23, 2025 at the age of 67, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Emerson Hylton and Iris Carter Hylton; and his grandson Coleman Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hylton; his children, Phillip Gavin Hylton (Kaitlin), Jennifer Pulliam (Henry), Christie Daniel (Clint), Ashley Ross (Brandon Duncan) and Skyler Key (Tyler); his siblings, Lawrence Emerson Hylton Jr. (Robin), Keith Carter Hylton Sr. (Linda), Anthony Scott Hylton (Virginia) and Lou Ellen Merricks (Joe); and his grandchildren, Tristan Daniel, Kristan Ross, Braxton Galvin, Harlie Brooks, Lilly Brooks, Karleigh Galvin, Leighton Key, Addyson Adkins, Brynlee Hylton, Levi Hylton and Mason Duncan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church (3612 Dry Fork Rd, Dry Fork, VA 24549). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Dry Fork fire department.
