She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Ruth Silva Balderson and Charles Francis Balderson; and her brothers, Charles Lester Balderson and Arthur Lauren Balderson. She is survived by: her children, Lester Allen "Ralph" Strode (Mary Jo) of Dry Fork, VA and Kimberly Ruth "Boogie" Strode (Joe) of Ocasta; her siblings, James Harlow Balderson of Rigby, Marinda Marie Boswell of Port Orchard and Carrol Francis Bainter of Grayland; and her granddaughters, Lauren Abigail Strode, Holly Savannah Strode, Chloe Isabelle Strode and Bella Rose Gregory Strode.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Dry Fork Christian School, 6920 Dry Fork Road, Dry Fork, VA 24549.
