He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Gladys Cooper Williams and Henry Rudolph Williams. He is survived by: his wife Sybil Purnell Williams; his daughters, Kelly W. Oakes (Steven) of Danville, Krissy Owens (Johnny, Jr.) of Keeling, Cari DeMott of Danville and Stephanie Owen (Josh) of Cascade; his grandchildren, Landon, Madison Oakes, Noah, Makenzie Scott, Jace DeMott, Brooklyn, Eben, Sadie Owen, Kristen Odum and Caitlyn Dillion; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Savannah Ore and Ellie Dillion.
The family respectfully requests that visitors to the home and attendees of the graveside service observe social distancing and to please wear a mask at all times.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Non-denominational Christian Tabernacle, 1406 Mt. Hill Rd., Ringgold, VA 24586.
