She is survived by: her husband Earl Oakes; her son Tim Oakes (Amber); her stepchildren, Earl Oakes, Jr., Billy Oakes and Angela Oakes (James McVay); her grandchildren, Cash Oakes, Emma Oakes, Freya Oakes, Wyatt Oakes, Landen Oakes and Rayna Oakes; and her brothers, Joey Reid, Ken Reid and Bruce Reid.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Swicegood Chapel (564 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Swicegood Funeral Service Chapel (564 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541).
