He is survived by: his son Jerron "Pete" Morton (Yolanda) of Cascade, VA; his grandsons, Elijah of Cascade, VA, Evan of Cascade, VA and Ethan Morton of Cascade, VA; and his brother James L. Morton of Danville, VA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
