She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Dempsey Hearp and Gladys Reynolds Hearp; and her son Christopher G. Henderson. She is survived by: her husband George Henderson; her granddaughter Sierra Boettner (Bobby); her siblings, Mike Hearp (Judy) and Tammy Mills (W. A.); her sister-in-law Brenda H. Bowman (Ken); her nieces, Meagan Barbour (Jamie), Lauren Fowlkes (Ethan), Lindsay Bowman and Shelly Mitchell (Damon); her great-nieces, Kenley Barbour, Cutler Fowlkes, Carsie Fowlkes and Charlize Mitchell; her nephew Lance Pickeral (Leah); her great-nephew Layton Pickeral; her cousin Christy Webster; and her close friends, Nancy Evans and Doretha Smith.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church (16300 Mt Cross Rd, Dry Fork, VA 24549-3532). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Swansonville Pentecostal Church (16300 Mt Cross Rd, Dry Fork, VA 24549-3532).
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church or to the Danville/Pittsylvania County Cancer Association.
