It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Rigney Osborne of Dry Fork, Virginia, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Thomas Rigney and Methis Lula Rigney; her husband Ray Daniel Osborne; and her grandchildren, Jonah Dalton and Candace Dalton.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Pope Hays of Greensboro, NC and Karen Hill (Tim) of Dry Fork; and her grandchildren, Christopher W. Perkins of Richmond and Crystal Dalton of Dry Fork.
