It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifton Parrish Murphy Jr. of Dry Fork, Virginia, who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton P. Murphy, Sr. and Thelma Cundiff Murphy; his sons, Steve Murphy and Buddy Murphy; and his siblings, Rebecca Holly, Ida Sue Osborne, Katie Yeatts, Billy Murphy, Sr. and Cary Murphy.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy M. Gregory, Karen S. Allen (Rick), Jeff Murphy, Donald Murphy and Parrish Murphy III (Pam); his sister Mary Jo Short; his grandchildren, Josh, Travis, Kassidi, Austin, Dustin and Clifton; and his great grandchildren, Jolene, Medora, Hazley and Liam.
