Bobby Ray Riddle Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Ray Riddle of Dry Fork, Virginia, born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on September 26, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Bobby Ray shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Bobby Ray farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah Payne Riddle and Robert Riddle; and his brothers, Lynwood Riddle and Bill Riddle. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wells Riddle; his children, Beth Scearce (David) and Barry R. Riddle (Tamra); and his grandchildren, Erin Riddle (Jacob Porter), Brantley Riddle (Shelayne) and Matthew Scearce. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church (16300 Mt Cross Rd, Dry Fork, VA 24549). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
