She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Wright and Phyllis Nowlin Wright; and her siblings, Donnie, Carl Jr., Jimmy, Pete, Larry, Hattie, Virginia and Rachel.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Hankins; her sons, Edward Hankins (Rebeckah) and Wayne Hankins (Amanda); her siblings, Eugene, Linda and Phyllis; her granddaughters, Katherine Nuckles (Brandon), Michaela Bailey (Jonathan) and Miranda Sims (Jacob); her great grandchildren, Judson and Paisley Nuckles; and her close friend Peggy Carr.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home (232 Ben Bolt Ave, Tazewell, VA 24651). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
