She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryn Cassada Lewis Shelton and James W. Shelton; her brothers, Charles Lewis and Dudley Lewis; and her pet Tipper.
She is survived by: her sisters, Shirley L. Dallas and Penny S. Bartee (Donald R. Bartee); her adoptive daughter Tabitha Rigney; her pets, Tippy and Bam; and her nephew Jamie Bartee. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
