He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Edwards, Sr. and Lula Bowles Edwards; and his brother George Edwards, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Carol Herndon Edwards; his sons, Charles "Charlie" Lee Edwards (Tina) of Providence, NC, Barry Lee Edwards (Holly) of Oro Valley, AZ and Damon Lee Edwards (Amy) of Dry Fork, VA.; and his sisters, Mary Johnson, Kathy Hamlett, Annette Jeter, Ann Bartley and Fannie Herndon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
