She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Christopher Burkett and Lillian Virginia Taylor Burkett; her husband Charles Washington "C. W." Mottesheard, Jr.; her son Charles Burkett "Burke" Mottesheard; her siblings, Nancy "Zipper" Burkett McGlocklin, Jacob "Bill" Burkett and Robert "Bobby" Burkett; and her niece Emily Boothe.
She is survived by: her nephew Jay Burkett (Crystal); her nieces, Sarah Chapman and Rebecca Burkett; her great-nephews, Chris, Cody and Dylan; her great-niece Samantha Cabaniss (Stephen); her sister-in-law Betty Burkett (Blueridge); her caregivers, Darlene, Earl Jones and Draper; and also Aubrey Cabaniss.
