He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar and Lillian Draper Woods; his son Stephen "Randy" Woods; his sisters, Annie W. Cochran, Mallie W. Mason Weatherford and Belle W. Vernon; his half-sister Mabel Stovall; and his brothers, Thomas E. Woods, Sandy "Pete" Woods and David Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Harris Woods; his children, Robin Woods South of Eden, Kim Woods of Eden and Jeff Woods (Teresa) of Salisbury, NC; his granddaughter Lorilee South; his stepgranddaughter Sheryl Casper; and his stepgreat-grandson Hunter Casper. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
