He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Clarence O'Dell and Phoebe Annie Dean O'Dell; his daughter Tina O'Dell Fitzpatrick; and his siblings, Sylvia Lanier, Eloise O'Dell, Garry O'Dell and Randolph O'Dell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy O'Dell Kidd, H. M. Kidd and Pulaski; his grandchildren, Joseph "Joey" Brandon Cox, Brandon Joel Coake (Jessi) and Amelia Claire Fitzpatrick; his great grandchildren, Brylee and Elli Coake; and his siblings, Kenneth O'Dell and Geraldine Hayes (Dublin).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Tina Fitzpatrick Scholarship Fund at New River College, Dublin.
