She is survived by: her children, James D, Jr. (April Yopp), Jackie Yopp, Brenda (Leonard Woodrum), Karen (Graham Slate) and Wanda Yopp; and her sister Dorothy Akers. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
