Though Alice Sturdivant may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ransom and Lula Landrum Sturdivant; and her brother Dudley Sturdivant. She is survived by: her husband Jimmie Bishop; her children, Mike Bishop (Linda) and Karen Mitchell (John); and her sister Phoebe Poff-Newlon. She is also survived by 6 grandsons; 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mullins Funeral Home (120 W Main St, Radford, VA 24141). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Radford Church of Christ (700 8th St, Radford, VA 24141). A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Old Dublin Cemetery (129 Cemetery Rd, Dublin, VA 24084).
