She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ransom and Lula Landrum Sturdivant; and her brother Dudley Sturdivant. She is survived by: her husband Jimmie Bishop; her children, Mike Bishop (Linda) and Karen Mitchell (John); and her sister Phoebe Poff-Newlon. She is also survived by 6 grandsons; 3 great grandchildren.
