We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2020, at the age of 98, Lorena T. Tharpe of Drakes Branch, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lorena T. Tharpe to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Tharpe and Mary Tharpe of Saxe, VA.; her husband David L. "Dick" Tharpe; her son David Irving Tharpe; and her siblings, Pauline Tharpe (Bill), Gladys Crutchfield, Lillian Langford and Irving "Puss" Tharpe.

She is survived by: her sons, Larry Tharpe of Keswick, VA, Jerry Tharpe of Drakes Branch, VA and George Tharpe (Marsha) of Randolph, VA. She is also survived by two sisters.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions mask and social distancing is required.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Calvary Cemetery Foundation, c/o George Tharpe, P. O. Box 36, Drakes Branch, VA 23937.
