It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Reed Burt of Doswell, Virginia, born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Reed and Mavis Reed; and her son Carl Glenn McElroy II. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Burt; her son Kevin Burt (Heather); her grandson Carl Glenn "Tripp" McElroy III; her brother DeWayne Reed (Jane); and her aunt Risa Kay Hodges DuBard.
