He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred Newberry and Ida Belle Newberry; and his siblings, Andy Newberry, Roger Newberry, Glen Newberry, Walter "Junior" Newberry, Frances Hill and Helen Street.
He is survived by: his sister Janice Sue Lawson of Doran Bottom; and his niece Melissa "Missy" May. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
