It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolly Bentley of Doran, Virginia, born in Grundy, Virginia, who passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Stuart and Alafair Meda Hurley Ratliff; her husband Charles Raymond Bentley; her children, Ronald Dwayne "Pete" Bentley and Robyn Renya Cunningham; and her siblings, Bertie Sparks, Arvin O. Estep, Ernest G. Estep, Dewey Ratliff, Grady Odello Ratliff and Junior Ratliff.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Bentley (Gail) of Cedar Bluff, VA, Chuck Bentley of Raven, VA, Jon Bentley (Cynthia) of Abingdon, VA, Rita Dye (Harold) of Oakwood, VA, Peggy Austin (Gary) of Council, VA and Donna Helbert (David) of Yanceysville, NC; and her brother Joe Ratliff (Sherry). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 5 great, great grandchildren.
