Hess of Doran, Virginia, born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ben and Myrtle Dorothy Blankenship Sparks; her stepfather Jackie Lee Blankenship; and her brother Dennis W. Sparks. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Alvin Hess; her son Alvin Hess (Heather) of Belfast, VA.; her siblings, Benny Sparks (Deidra) of Road Ridge, VA, Connie Dye and Sidney Sparks (Carlene) of Cliffield, VA; her grandchildren, Peyton Hess, Mason Hess and Ja'Shon Yates; her nieces and nephews, Austin, Morgan and Bailey; and her siblings, Barbara Vandyke, Paul Vandyke (Judi McGee) and Barbara Dennis (Alan) of Kingsport, TN.
