He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlow Kiser and Thelma Laforce Kiser; and his brother Herman Kiser. He is survived by: his wife Trula Kiser; his children, Sandra Tatum (Jeffrey) of Raven, Virginia Misty Vance (Jason) of Raven, Virginia and Jay Kiser of Raven, Virginia; his sisters, Ruby Rife (Jack) of Grundy and Virginia Beulah Kyle of Grundy, Virginia; his stepmother Ruby Kiser of Davenport, Virginia; his half-siblings, Kitty Jackson (William), Kathy Jackson (Gary) and Robert Kiser; his grandchildren, Tiffany Byrd (Corey Blanton), Paige Byrd, Jaydan Vance, Haley Kiser and Maylea Vance; his stepgrandsons, Levi Tatum, Cole Tatum and Walker Tatum; and his great grandchildren, Sophia Blanton, Kinley Blanton and Tatem Blanton.

Per COVID-19 guidelines, only 25 people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time and facial coverings must be worn at all times.
