He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Thacker Williams; his grandsons, Davy Williams and Eric Williams; his parents, Leslie R. Williams and Pearl Ball Williams; and his siblings, Frances Bolanowski, Roger, Charles and Jimmy Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Raymond "Ray" Williams, Jr., Susan Williams (Rickey), Doris Robinette (Eddie) and Diane Bruce (Robert); his grandchildren, Daniel Williams, Maria Amos, Tonya Spence, Tiffany Spence, Robert Bruce, Jr., Anthony Bruce and Jonathan Bruce; and his siblings, Daisy Birdsong Bernice Bonnovitch (Herman), Shirley Cunningham (Gerry), Lucy Lewis, Margaret Sheffield, Clifton Williams and Randy Williams. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Clarke Funeral Home (110 E 5th Ave, Kenbridge, VA 23944). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Crestview Memorial Park (18599 US-1, La Crosse, VA 23950).
