She was predeceased by: her mother Bennie Goldsberry; her sons, Robert Elder (Peter), Jerry C. Elder and Darrell R. Elder; and her siblings, Lucille, Sadie, Irma, Hortense, Lona, Beulah, Clarence, John, Creed, Charlie, Fred and Ben.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Lee Elder; her daughter Roslyn R. Oliver (Jimmy) of Hampton, VA; her sister Rose Threatt of Teaneck, NJ; her grandchildren, Gregory, Damien, Letesha, Rosina, Melissa, Tocomba and DanieI; and her siblings-in-law, Vertrine Goldsberry, Pearl Harrison (Phil), Mary Sue Knotts and Elton Elder. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren;2 great -great grandchildren.
