John Peterson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2021, at the age of 77, John Peterson of Dolphin, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Hicks Peterson and Joseph Peterson Sr.; and his sister Carrie Harris. He is survived by: his sister Ann Thompson; his daughter Lakita Hill (Vonne) of Dolphin, Virginia; his grandchildren, Devon Hill of Dolphin, Virginia, Keylan Hill of Dolphin, Virginia and Zariyah Gary of Dolphin, Virginia; his siblings, Corrine Peterson-Carver (James) of Richmond, Doris Gilliam of Baltimore, Maryland, Louis Peterson and Joseph Peterson, Jr. (Marie) of Dolphin; and his friend Mac Seward. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many loving cousins, other relatives.
