It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Wenditz of Doe Hill, Virginia, born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Albert and Grace May Wenditz (Metzler); his wife Freda Madeline Corvin; and his siblings, Betty Kroft, Kathryn Benny, Dorothy Roth, Nancy Weaver, Richard, Kenneth, William, Donald, Charles and Robert Wenditz.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon W. Sponaugle (Harry); his granddaughter Laci Neil (Scottie); and his great grandchildren, Peyton of Doe Hill and Trevor Neil of Doe Hill. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
