Thomas Simmons Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2023, at the age of 74, Thomas Simmons of Disputanta, Virginia, born in Petersburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander J. Simmons and Mabel Cabaniss Simmons; and his brother John D. Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Kay R. Simmons; his children, Cherie McTiernan (Julie), David Simmons and John Simmons (Amanda); his grandchildren, Alexis Simmons, John Simmons, Jr., Mckenna Simmons and David Simmons, Jr.; his siblings, Patricia Constantine (Larry) and Alexander Simmons (Janice); his nephews, Todd Simmons (Danielle) and Jeremy Starr (Katherine); and his niece Andrea Simmons. He is also survived by numerous other extended family members and friends.
