He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph H. Stanifer and Laura P. Stanifer. He is survived by: his stepson Christopher W. Harbaugh; his wife Geneva Patton Stanifer; his stepdaughter Wendy M French of Denton, NC; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan T. Ashley, Brandon J. Harbaugh and Wyatt Short; and his sisters, Glenda S. Moore (Terry) and Joyce S. Wallace. He is also survived by four step-great-grandchildren.
