He is survived by: his children, James "Jimmy" Alter (Kathy) and Kris Franchok (Paul); his daughter-in-law Dale Alter; and his grandchildren, Travis Wolfrey (Miranda), Lynwood Collier (Bridget), Tonya Kerns, Aliese Alter (Sara), Emma Pryor (Jacob), Hannah Alter, Jacob Alter, Jessica Mitchell (Donnie), Leanne Crouch (Seth), Dustin and Brandon Franchok. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.
