He is survived by: his wife Doralene B. Reed; his children, Jeanelle Knowles (John), Annetta Riekel (Thom), Danita Gittman (Mike Homer), Mitchell Reed (Robin), Randall Reed (Lisa) and Daniel Reed (Teresa Roberts); and his grandchildren, Lane, Lindley, Kylie Riekel, Rachel, Ryan, Tara Gittman, Jennifer Homer Davis, Michael, Brooke Reed, Eric, Chad, Cory Wiggins, Amanda, Samantha and Brady Reed. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
