Flora E. Archer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Flora E. Archer (Disputanta, Virginia), who passed away on April 4, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Marvin S. Simmons; her husband John Aldwin Archer, Sr; her son John A. Archer, Jr.; and her son-in-law Franklin Wade Fischer. She is survived by: her parent Minnie Grammer Simmons; her daughter Cathy A. Fischer; her grandsons, William Randolph Fischer (Sarah) and Matthew Archer Fischer (Brittney); her great grandchildren, Michael James Fischer and Ava Catherine Fischer; her daughter-in-law Lelia S. "Kirkie" Archer; and her nieces, Virginia Archer Goodrich, Caroline Laudien, Charles Andrews and Judy Andrews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to the Petersburg Home for Ladies Fellowship Fund, 311 S. Jefferson St. Petersburg, Virginia 23803.
