She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas G. and Grace Berryman Jones; and her husband William Ted Sowards. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Sowards (Connie) and Tony Sowards; her grandchildren, Chandler, Jarred, Heather and Jasmine; and her siblings, Brenda Carroll (Percy), Milton Jones (Bonnie) and Melvin Jones (Barbara). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
