He was predeceased by: his father Benjamin Franklin Carey Sr. Mr; and his sisters, Marian Carey and Ruth Carey. He is survived by: his mother Beryl Stanton Carey; his wife Debra Carey; his daughters, Deidre Gill (Jeremy) and Rachel Shute (Nick); his grandchildren, Kaleb Gill, Carter Gill, Aubrey Gill, Benjamin Shute and Ayla Shute; and his brother Robert Carey.
