She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edwards and Grace Edwards of Dinwiddie, Virginia.; her stepmother Hannah Edwards (Cornelius Myrick); her son Wallace Myrick (Zeke); her siblings, John Wallace Edwards and Thelma E. Taylor; and her goddaughter Audrey Richardson.
She is survived by: her sister Savannah E. Cabral; her daughters, Joyce M. Simmons and Barbara M. Jones (Carroll); her granddaughters, Tondrea D. Simmons, Andrea N. Seaborn (Desmond) and Brandi R. Lundy; her great grandchildren, Jaylen G. Gregory, Jordan T. Gregory, Justin K. Gregory, Cruz A. Seaborn and Charli N. Seaborn; her brother-in-law Macon Myrick (Dorothy); and her goddaughters, Shelia Lacy, Barbara Browder, Iris Mays and Sherdina Brooks. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
