She was predeceased by: her parents, Susie Walker Lundy and George Daniel Lundy; and her brothers, Daniel Lundy and Alvin Lundy. She is survived by: her daughter Lakychica Fegans Gillus (Jerry Jr.); her granddaughter Kiana Love; her boyfriend Lester "Sonny" Thornton Jr.; her sisters, Vilma Lundy Crenshaw (Linwood), Nadirah Raheem, Sandra Lundy Parham (Embra), Leonora Lundy Graves (Edward) and Princess Lundy Edmonds (George); her aunts, Gladys Wyatt, Ruth Lee, Pearl Bland (Harold), Meredith Lowe, Jane Lundy and Catherine Lundy; and her uncle Reverend Herman Lundy (Claudia). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Due to the recent resurgence of COVID-19, the family has decided to hold a graveside service for Ruth.
