She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie Barnes and Ribble Carpenter Clarke. She is survived by: her husband Milton Irby Hargrave Jr.; her child Milt (Debra Hargrave) of Dinwiddie, VA; her grandchildren, Greenville, Anna, Josh Stern of Alexandria, VA., Whit Rasmussen, Mackenzie Hargrave, Grayson Hargrave, Nell Gray Rasmussen and Charlotte Stern; her great grandchild Tucker Hargrave; her sister Nell; and her siblings-in-law, H. B. Butterworth of Blacksburg, VA and Mary Jane Clarke of Louisa, VA..
